Katherine “Kat” Rauenhorst is an Associate Attorney at Lyons O’Dowd. Born and raised in Idaho’s Silver Valley, Kat brings a grounded, community‑focused perspective to her practice. After graduating from the University of Oregon School of Law in May of 2025, Kat was admitted to the Idaho State Bar, as well as the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for Idaho, in September of 2025.
Before joining Lyons O’Dowd, Kat gained valuable experience in family, civil, and criminal law, developing a strong foundation in case management, client advocacy, and courtroom practice. She is eager to use these skills to support clients across the firm’s practice areas, including education law and real estate law matters.
Outside the office, Kat enjoys running, golfing, spending time with her family, and exploring Idaho’s panhandle. She is also an active member of P.E.O., an organization whose mission is to advance educational opportunities for women worldwide.
